Delivery & Returns


We offer a ‘white glove’ delivery for your furniture. You will be able to track your delivery once the items of furniture have left our manufacturing base.

To make sure you are completely satisfied with your furniture the delivery team will ask you to sign for your furniture after is has been delivered. All deliveries will be pre-booked and must be signed for. If you are out when our delivery team arrives, they will leave a card with a contact number for you to call them and arrange a delivery at a future date. Please note that there will be an additional charge for failed delivery where the failure to deliver is no fault of GLD Furniture. No compensation will be offered for late deliveries in any event. We deliver to the whole of the UK mainland. We also deliver to the remote areas of the UK including the Scottish Highlands, Scottish Isles, Ireland, The Isle Of Man and The Isle Of Wight. Delivery charges to remote areas may incur a surcharge, which is calculated by the size and weight of your order. Please contact us at the point of ordering your furniture for a delivery cost if you live in the more remote areas of the UK.

Our delivery teams are trained to install your furniture successfully, but it is your responsibility to ensure easy access to the room of your choice. Before placing an order, please measure carefully to ensure that your furniture will fit into the room it’s intended for and that it will also fit through any passages, access gates, stairwells, landings, and internal doors, including space for manoeuvring and turning. Prior to your delivery, please ensure the route is clear and free from obstructions such as pictures and ornaments.

The delivery team will then photograph the furniture once it has been successfully placed in the room of your choice. This image will then be sent to Gerard Lewis Designs to confirm The furniture has arrived in perfect condition and is at its desired location.
